New video from Black Milk off his upcoming album entitled “Album of the Year” set to drop on September 14th courtesy of Fat Beats/Decon Records. It features the ill duo acomplices of Royce Da 5’9″ and Elzhi on this murderous track. Black Milk is truley one of the many underrated MC/Producer’s on the scene and definitely looking forward to what the Detroit native has in store for September.

This past Friday there were a host of events going on in LA. The Great Black Release Party at Undefeated was too dark to shoot anything worth breaking out the camera for & at the Dom Kennedy Show, I’d rather post up than get in the mix with the rest of the paparazzi. That leaves us with House Industries, one of my favorite design houses & Reserve LA, a flagship store for a label we stock called Freshjive. Together, they threw an installation featuring new wood serigraphs. Type nerds like myself, gazed at nothing more than a well crafted ampersand & took appreciation to it.

Not too recently, friend of the shop Asher Roth gave us a surprise visit to come hang out with the crew & a few lucky customers. He played some joints for us from his new album G.R.I.N.D. We don’t have many pics from that night other than this camera phone pic & a few photo booth shenanigans…but it will do.

As you know we carry an array of women’s brands such as Hellz. They recently collaborated with new artist Dev to create a dope video for her new single, ‘Booty Bounce.’ This video is a peek into Hellz past, present, and future. Styles all the way from 2007 are featured for your fashion pleasure – and recognized by the style-savvy writers of MTV ‘Style’.
