Our female customers have been asking us to carry more pieces for them, so here’s a little something for the ladies. We’re always on the lookout for something new & original, so here it is. Allow us to introduce A*Voyce to our list of women’s brands. A*Voyce is a brand new line created by Ava Gaudet. Ava is a singer, actress, songwriter, and now, up-and-coming clothing designer. Her training in music and entertainment has fueled a desire to constantly find different creative ways to express herself. A step into fashion is just one of those ways & we support that. In the developing stages of Ceria, we began visiting Carnicerias & taking pictures of all the different store setups. We found that no Carniceria is ever the same, but the one thing that remained similar is that every Carniceria had some kind of mural to represent their store. We began to document all the artwork, some good some bad.  In the midst of all this, we found out there was someone who was also documenting the same thing, but simply for their sheer love of these paintings. He goes by the name of Tony Mora. We eventually got in contact with Tony & shortly thereafter he shared with us his entire photo collection of Carniceria storefronts & murals. From this, we were able to dig deeper & gather ideas for creating Ceria. Shouts to Tony for this. Here are a few shots from his collection that we will post every so often to pay tribute to the artists that created the artwork. The first photo is a Carniceria in which our logo was developed from. We just received the new record label tees from Stonesthrow. This is another banger for all you music heads. It features all your favorite record labels all on one tee. “Record Label Logos” (directly below) is a tribute to the dying breed of the record label and is available in white and black. Along with this delivery, the crew at Stonesthrow threw in some throwback tees from last year. The “All Caps” tee for the infamous hip hop duo MadVillain is available now. Don’t get caught sleeping on this as these are no longer being produced. Limited quantities in stock.

Big up to the crew over at LA Market & TLR & Co. for this. They recently did  a segment on the shop for their site LA Market, capturing the essence of what Ceria is about. We appreciate the work put into this. Be sure to check out the full story here. Props due!

If you’ve ever been to a Ceria Event you know we have the Jarritos crew come through to join in on the festivities and provide drinks. This time they passed the invite to hang out at Bang Gallery for The Jarritos Flavor City Art Contest which was during the LA Artwalk. If you’ve never been, its a great place to get your artwork fix. Galleries are open late with the bars & clubs providing tunes on every corner of downtown. All the well known taco trucks are in full swing. If you’re lucky, you’ll be able to find the White Rabbit & when you do go ahead and get some of that. The LA Artwalk takes place every 2nd Thursday of each month, but summertime is the best time to check it out!

Long time friend, DJ Nando has been holding down the DJ circuit for years making a name for himself starting in the battle scene to rocking parties & also getting busy with the beats. Along with that, Nando occasionally puts out some of the illest mixes out there. Here’s a soul mix made circa 2007 thats guaranteed get your head nodding. Download & enjoy!
