The Lake Show Parade

the-lake-show-parade

A few of us made it down to Staples to check out the parade for our ’09 & ’10 Back to Back World Champions, The Los Angeles Lakers. It was definitely a site to see. We were able to get up into the offices at Staples for a few snaps of the masses as well as getting herded up: front & centered for a few decent shots while the victory parade passed. Shouts to our girl Perlita for getting us up in the cut. Till next year…Lakeshow baby!

This Week In Deliveries: Married To The Mob

this-week-in-deliveries-married-to-the-mob

This one is Stricltly for the ladies! This week in deliveries features a brand new label called Married To The Mob. M.O.B. also dubbed Most Official Bitches comes to Ceria by way of NYC. Its design inspiration for the label is literally up from the streets of New York and its clubs, secret hang-out spots and smoke-filled parties, making MOB equal parts chic, smart-mouthed, and definitely not-to-be-messed with. No doubt it’s all New York attitude, but in the three years since it was founded, the MOB label has found female fans all over the globe who can identify with its street smarts. MOB will join the likes of other select brands here at Ceria that will hold it down for our female friendly audience, including Hellz Bellz, Claw Money, Han Cholo & BB Dakota. Take a look at more MOB pieces that we have in stock right here. Go ladies!!!

Sleeper Tuesdays: Jose James

sleeper-tuesdays-jose-james

Coming at cha with another artist on the scene whose talents ya’ll may have overlooked.  This week’s installment of Sleeper Tuesday’s comes to you courtesy of the Brooklyn based, Minneapolis breed, singer/composer/producer Jose James. Although his 2008 debut album The Dreamer embraced his jazz roots and won him acclaim as one of the great jazz singers of our generation, one of his latest album releases Black Magic was more a blend of jazz, soul and ill vibes.  The album features production from Flying Lotus and one of my favorites out of Japan DJ Mistsu the Beats giving certain tracks on the album a vibe that’s reminiscent of the likes of Steve Spacek and Dwele.  Definitely on some grown folk music for the jazzy soul rebels.  Check his site for new music and info.
